Paadal.com is built using Struts 2.0 which uses Spring to talk to Hibernate, which queries a MySQL database. The application is deployed on Tomcat, which is invoked by Apache running on a Linux server located 6000ft below here.
Here comes the star of the show, the shiny new Paadal Player, built using Flex.
